I would lighten the puzzel lines and give it a drop shadow (to make the source pix more readily visable) then put it on a background....maybe like a felt "roll-up" or a wooden table top! I really like the idea..........nicely done.

It looks really nice but I only wish you were more explicit in your SBS, for as much as I can see, you've used a lot of filters....! Nice and simple. Nice composition! I think it's cute that the frame is so close to the ground to allow the girl to display properly.

I like this a lot, I love the composition, I love the mood, but the painting and the girl do seem like they are in two different images. the coloring for the girl and background have a lot of push to a single color variance. Lights are Very light, darks are very dark, (medium tones are minimized) and the frame has more nuances in color variation. also w/ the light source for the girl photo and where her shadow is doesn't match the frame. The shadow for the girl falls to the right slightly and the painting has an over all shadow under all planes, shift that also to the right. This could be very very nice!

Edit: oops I guess it's too late to change huh? hard to keep up with so many contests... notes for next time Like it very much over all
