The fur looks mroe like gray grass. The shadows should be a little less spread out and a little harder and darker. The box looks like it is hovering. Fixing the shadows will be easy. You might want to consider using something else for fur effect. Please upload a higher resolution if possible.

The texture of the felt (the fur) looks better but more like carpet now. The shadows just seems well, skiddish. It seems you burned the shadows. For a future effect, try drop shadow, clicking on the box layer (if you made a box layer) It probably would have been more effective. I know it's too late to fix it but try playing with drop shadow effects in future entries.
