I just rotated and adjusted letters, numbers, and symbols to create a portrait. (5 years and 3761 days ago)
This was an easy one for me...I do this work every day as a photographic portrait retouch artist. THAT is my job....THIS is my fun!
The only sources I used were the contest photo and a background that I made. The rest is "skill and technique".
Some have suggested a background change (one of my own making) which I did and liked it better! Thanks for the critique! (5 years and 3870 days ago)
ya kinda don't need the back ground on this one (I like how you lined up the circles aroun the eyes).. I think the background almost takes a way from the work (lines up too well).. but that could be just me.. great Idea all round though
Very nice idea, but i'd change the background, it matches up too clesely with the face painting, and i'm sure that's the bit you want to keep
Interesting idea...
Thanks for the advise guys..........it looks MUCH better!
i didnt see the firts background but this one does look good... may i hand youi another tip.. thru his hair on top and the site you see the whiter background shine thru... its what i call the "hit by a grassmower" look XD. I wrote a tutorial how to avoid it but it was on the old lpst site and its gone now so the best tip i can give is search for a tutorial to redraw hairs or wait till this site has my tutorial again
cool
Nice face paint.

used with kind her permission.
Only source and painting (5 years and 3875 days ago)
um wow.
Niha was unknowingly deleted her pic, therefore I requested mod for my previous entry removal, but now she has uploaded her pic again therefore I am submitting again. I hope you will vote again.
Note : She also gave me her kind permission for using her pic. Thanks Nisha.
Good sentiment but not the right contest for this, IMHO.
I have to agree with CMYK also, but good emotion!
CMYK, Nator and Ponti you all said not right for contest. Contest is to "photoshop this image" , I have used one of the member of pxl picture from her permission and used source texture for face, dress and background from source, So what is wrong?.is it theme contest? or is source not visible or something else which I can't figure out.
great image as i said before
Ha-ha-ha, great idea to turn her into a native American

Decided to use the bread from one of the other contests to create devangel. The hair is made out of various feather brushes. The eyeball is from a photo I took myself (included). Enjoy! (5 years and 3889 days ago)
She's has incredible ART HANDS.. (used to be an old wives tale that people with long elegant hands are born artists) how apropos.. very inventive idea author.. good luck
good work
nice
is it really allowed to use photos from another contest?
LOL! yes, it is geloid. Your just not allowed to give them a sourcelink if you dont want to earn a red flag. I did this expirience once, but nobody said anything against using the other contests image. To the author: a shame that you didnt add a humor-votingbar!
omg looks like she's got smallpox... Although good job at giving the bread a human face!!
very nice
hahaha.... it's me!! nice author
haha like the image

Wow...good job
good job
you removed too much of her right eye
good but it's not realistic
you really kept her original form ,,, a tad unreal, but I think that's what gives it an edge (I'm so sorry, I thought it was Laura Bush at first glance.. made me EEEEKKKK for a moment)
You turned her into a china doll!
mho, the head looks to small for the body and she looks more like a doll
i like what you did to the neck area, but she looks like a doll
bit look like a doll gud work
too plastic for my liking, but gr8 effort
Wow, lots of changes
i made some changes and i think now it's better... thank u all for your comments

I think is on theme. It´s a very good idea, maybe you could add more details or shadows. Good luck.
