Oh the things we will do to our children's pictures after 29 hours of no sleep. I actually made this earlier with the hotel picture (hotel was his hat) but due to a site malfunction I can't enter it, so I changed it to these leaves. Not quite the same, but it will do. Wonderful photo and colouring, but you didn't fix the cracks, nor the grainyness... Fix that and it'll be great
Yes, removing the cracks & blotches, and fixing the color on the top edge of the hair will improve this...
I'm not sure why you didn't take the advice of other artists. Fixing those scratches would not have been hard. I think her face is too orange.
