hard choice... I still stand by my comments.. filter heavy YES, but has that book cover look. BOTH images are nice GL with your choice.

I would pick one or the other...I like the less filtered look on the left.

IN low res it looks like it needs a contrast adjustment but in high it has a lot of detail so. I don't know. Maybe too many filters like CMYK said

You might want to soften your edges...also there's a black line above the hand of the little figure. Innovative use of source.

I like the image in general despite the minimal use of the source pic, but transplanting a kid's head on an adult's body is kinda disproportionate...

thanks for the comments. cmyk46, sometimes is not the quantity, but the quality, that counts. for me a source image is a starting point to creating a story. about the chopping of the kid's head with the adult's body, i think the image can get away with it since it is portraying an elf....don't tell the others, but they don't exist....shhhhhhhhhhhhhh
