very beautiful You can tell there was alot of hard work done iwth this . Only thing that bothers me is the ear pieces may just be me but looks like it's floating there, and the neck is a little pixelated on the sides other than that fantastic. Good luck.

Very nice! Kudos for avoiding the perfect-symmetry trap and recognizing that every feather is different. (The non-perfectly-symmetrical background is good, too.) I must admit that I don't get what is holding the feathers over her ears in place, plus I think those fluffy feathers make it look like she has a purple Bozo-type hairdo to go with her bald head.

blending is needed but her expression consumes the image.. be careful of sources that over power your work.. You should want the dress to be the subject and it turns out her glaring power stare wins against it (Excellent thought though) good luck on this..you really need to blend the dress more to make it believable IF that is your goal

Original thinking and good use of external sources. Here and there the lamp needs a tiny bit of extra masking, but is really very little. Maybe if you lower the saturation from the lamp parts a bit it will fit better with the rest of the image. And not sure, but maybe a (sunny) photofilter for the background would help too. Up to you. As beautiful as this is.. and as wonderful and intricate the constructions.. HUGE disappointment that you could not use the entire color spectrum in its creation.. IT IS SCREAMING FOR COLOR... not just blue.. but that's just me.. still HIGH MARK.. oh man. it's like looking at a brand new coloring book with no cover... SIGH.. excellent work author.. I'm going to lay down for a while to recover.. sniffle...

EDIT: STEP 7 is what made me freak out.. when you eliminated the color I almost wept.. LOL
