Great message... the water on the base of the arm doesn't look all too realistic and the lighting on the tree doesn't match the lighting on the arm, but i like the idea and the colours.. (in fact, the colours were blended very well!)

I was a little confused about the description. It’s a unique idea. The only suggestion I would make is make the man more 3279ish like his attire. I just don’t see “blue jeans” as the fashion in the year 3279. The background could be a little bit more science-fictiony as well. I would expect something more like Darth Vader’s chambers. Please don’t bite my head off because I made a suggestion, ok? I’ll come back and vote later.

That's a nice suggestion, Jawshoewhah, but in the last part of the description it says "despite all the wonders of technology, homes, clothes and cars will surprisingly be similar to what we know nowadays"... this is due to the massive radiation poisoning mentioned in the contest description; in that future, all the technology will be used to clone humans and develop cybernetic and hybrid parts, besides of a few other essential things. That's how I see it; I didn't want to fall into the cliche of ultra futuristic houses, clothes, etc...

As said above nice message, but I dont get well why you decided to make the edges from the earth and hands so blurry. Unless you want to create a certain Depth of Field effect (but then the inside of the hand needs some blur too), I'd make it all sharp. In case you can make it this way that the light direction comes from one point, would be great (or make it like that that there are 2 light sources, in that case there should be some more higlight on the right side of the earth too).
