Before is better, except for the ridiculous eyelashes...
EDIT: In response, the hair has no definition or highlights in the After version. The skin tones are better in the Before version, and the model looks better against the fabric than against the flowers in the After version. And then there are the eyelashes...

I think the after looks Eartha Kitt meets Diana Ross.. not bad in my book.. but I did A LOT of theatre work, so the second version would read fantastic on stage.. good luck author.
