Good use of the painting tools. i think it could me less accentuate on the skin.
This is my own photograph. The original is in SBS. The tutorial I used to get this effect (which took forever)is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7ohzq3iy74&t=209s (5 years and 956 days ago)

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. I was hoping for constructive comments and I am so happy to hear from you. This is my very first attempt at doing this kind of stuff and I am going to try to redo her using your suggestion.

Author, this is a photoshop contest.
I manipulated this image in photoshop, cloned out the background and used filters and selective saturation ....does that not qualify?
You have to post the original in a Step-by-step guide and show your process.
Please post all source links for your entry. Remember all sources must be free of copyright and links must show the image used along with the usage terms or license for that image.
If you're using your own image as source post the original image uncut and unaltered in an SBS (Step By Step) with your entry. Remember to state that it is your own image.
It's recommended that you read the Pxleyes Guide found here: http://www.pxleyes.com/courses/pxleyes-guide/
Thank you once again for your patience. I have done that now and WILL remember for next time.

Made with my own pictures, the model is me and the background is a place near me.
Liquify and oil painted the photo. (5 years and 983 days ago)
Author it's fine to use your own photos but the rules require that if you're using your own images as source you have to post the original images uncut and unaltered in an SBS (Step By Step) with your entry.
Please do that a.s.a.p. or the Contest Moderator may send you a warning.
You should check out the Pxleyes Guide, it has all the info you need to participate and more! You can find it here:http://www.pxleyes.com/courses/pxleyes-guide/
Thank you, man.
Great idea. To my eyes, it too much of a good thing. Why not try to paint out some detail of the eye . I bow to your artistic prerogative and do like the minimal colour palette.
Nifty effect.
nice try but need some 2D on the nose and eyes

Have you ever felt like this? (5 years and 1208 days ago)
You should have put your photo in a Step-by-step guide. (SBS). Entries are supposed to be anonymous, and the link to your photo on DA identifies you.
Thank you for letting me know. I am still learning about how this site works.
This is a very niece piece however there are some problems. As CMYK46 mentioned you do have to remove the link for your DA image and place your photo in an SBS stating that it is your own in order to remain anonymous.
More importantly the source used for the tea kettle is not acceptable. The image comes from an on line catalog: http://www.parousiasi.gr/?product=morphy-richards-%CF%84%CF%83%CE%B1%CE%B3%CE%B9%CE%B5%CF%81%CE%B1-%CE%BC%CE%B5-%CF%83%CF%86-46501 and it is an altered image which is also under copyright-© 2013 Παρουσίαση. All Rights Reserved.
You will have to use an acceptable source and make the other corrections as stated. It is important that you read the Beginners Guide available here: http://www.pxleyes.com/courses/guide/ You can also find the original forum post about sources here: http://www.pxleyes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5644 It's important to learn the rules to avoid problems like these. All the information you need can be found in the links I've provided.
I expect the Contest Moderator will be sending you a warning and temporarily remove your entry until it is corrected. As I mentioned this is a very nice image and I hope you will be able to make the corrections and republish. If you need assistance you can send me a PM (Private Message) and I'll answer any questions you have.
Thank you.
All necessary changes have been made. Thank you to the people who helped with advice, suggestions and encouragement. It is greatly appreciated.
YIPES! hehehe
