your main source image can't be used off of dA. i'd change the model stock before your whole idea gets pulled.
edit: better. Now you could work on cleaning up the edges a bit.

Its really nice image manipulation as per my view.

Few things I would like to suggest:

1. Figures of girl is cutting and pillar make it bit bright.
2. Pillar have some white color at bottom remove that.
3. As "CMYK46 says" - remove blue color.

Has a great feel to it ... unfortunately as Adhir said there is some white on the pillar where her hand is that takes away from the red effect. I also find the white glow around her is a bit distracting but that could be just me?

It is a lovely image ... just a few minor problems IMO!

On the left side it's not well blended, you can see the neck's line out of the shoulder's line.

Great! Where can I get one? Theres some uneven area between the the two hair lines and along the edge of the left side of the image. Good Luck.

As I couldn't see the original image, I think that the neck of the left head is thinner than the other...
