Tubbataha Reef is an atoll coral reef located in the Sulu Sea of the Philippines. It is a marine sanctuary protected as Tubbataha Reef National Marine Park. It is nominated at the New 7 Wonders of Nature. (article from Wikipedia)
Only source image is used in creating the fish. Using pen, burn, dodge tools, liquify filter and little noise to shape and to getting the desired look. (5 years and 3096 days ago)
Now that's a pretty Fish.. good luck and great job (slight blur brush on the top edge of the fish.. there is some white debris just on the edge) (just want you to get a high HIGH SCORE) and always IMHO
Thanks friend but that just look fine for me. Actually it's a part of the effects under the sea that were revealed thru the lighting.
The top fin is too sharp for the rest of the image - it looks "cut and paste," and the bottom is a bit too dark, going to almost pure black, but this is a creative idea, and the fish looks pretty real!
Thanks MossyB for your personal views but I wont change it cause I really want it that way. The fin is not in same texture with the other part of the fish and I applied selective lighting to highlight the elements I wanted.
like it author good luck
I like the fish too, I think you did a good job. Good luck author.
Author, very good !
SBS would be good.
Sorry Bob but I didn't able to save my final work in psd format when my computer crashed down. I'll try if I could find time. I really love to do it friend.

Selections, fills, filters, Transform tool, Dodge / Burn, Liquify - warp. Some of the suggested elements for this contest. No brush or painting used at all. Just an old PS program that I still have.
Anemonae desaturated and lowered brightness.
Fish, one of them, burned more lines to make it different from the other. (5 years and 3120 days ago)
Thanks Driven......!
Very nice work.
Very cool! The two magenta anemone-like things stand out too much, IMO, plus the two fish seem like perfect clones (which they are!). Shifting the eye of one of the fish would be more realistic.
Fantastic scene author, great shapes and its obvious that u invest loads of work to create all this cool elements. I remember when i created one underwater scene i was not happy with it cause in my eyes it looked to flat, u don't have that problem cause u created very cool DOF but maybe u could same thing that i did and to see how it goes. I created one blue/green layer, changed opacity to overlay and played up with plastic wrap filter. At the end i liked result so much. Any how this is so cool image and i wish u best of luck author...
Thanks Eration, Dan. I changed the saturation / brightness of the anemonae. Made the fish kinda different. It is hard, just thinking of NOT using the brush tool to paint, but we have lots of filters and other tools to work with.
Truly impressive work, author! Love it.
Perfect, author!
Too much repetition and not much depth. Good idea otherwise...GL author.

The only images I used that was not my own are the seashells which are credited to Emma-Frost-Stock and the Starfish provided by Pxleyes.
The other six images were mine. The end of her tail was a fractal I created in Apophysis.
*Update: I attempted to add adjustments offered by jawshoewah and greymval and Erathion.
I added several layers of colors to fix the overall feel of the image. Very curious to get more opinions. (5 years and 3333 days ago)
Nice chop! And kudos to using your own stock photos! My only nitpick would be maybe the edges around the starfish you turned into a bra. They just seem a little hard. Other than that, well done!
Make a blue overlay over the model, so it blends better. ( create new layer of solid color - blue- right click on it create clipping mask so it only affects the model, Mode: Overlay Opacity-20%- more or less) You could make 2 clipping layers one blue on green so that you have a turquaz overlaying your model.
Your background also has some noise that should be present on the model, so you could either lower her opacity -95-98% or add a noise over.
There's also a masking problem on her hip, use some clone stamp to cover over her human skin :P
Thank you very much for the suggestions I'll start working on them right away.
Nice looks good ..gl.
Water is always hard to work with...This image have a great concept author and u could turn it in fabulous entry...I would like to give u few advices because i had similar problems when i created my underwater entry's...For better blending, solid color layers with different blend modes are always good thing to do. Val gave u advice to use blue overlay layer, and that is good thing to do. I would gave u advice to use dark blue overlay layer, with opacity set between 20-40%. Also in this case u have to make whole scene a bit slighter and for that dark brown layer with color blend mode and goldish layer also in color mode will done the work. Play with opacity of course. And now magic stars, add on top of these layers, dark green soft light layer, play with opacity and u will get crazy blue-green water color, and goldish layer will gave some nice mood. And finally u could add on top of these,blue/gray layer, blend mode set to color, with a low opacity max10%. And thats it,great underwater scene. And u could create some bubbles behind the purple thing to achieve better depth...Sorry for this novel author...
erathion.. if you make us have to do a report on your comment.. you will receive a severe beating.... (oh.. very nice chop by the way author... giggle snort) smooches erathion.. just kidding!!!
author.. you should be very proud of all the work you have done... I'm exhausted after looking through your sbs ... GOOD LUCK
His comment was very helpful an I hope I was able to create the mood and feeling the were helping me achieve. I'm glad you appreciate the work because it was a very lengthy process. Either way I was very pleased with the end result
Now, who wouldn't help a hot naked chick lying on the ocean's floor . Glad you like the end result.
You'd be a fool not to help
Yes! that looks much better! One of the best entries! GL author!
Congratulations!

Great job except for the blurriness at the base of the thing holding the strawberry. Good luck!
I agree about the blurriness; but the whole image is very nice!
Fantastic image!! I have to agree with the blur, it is a bit distracting to the eye. Very well done and best of luck
Great image author,i don't have any nit picks...my new favorite...
Agree with CMYK. Otherwise love it!
super work on the blending and choice of images -- water over the earth is especially nice
