Paving blocks are thicker, but it's a good idea!
Not sure exactly why some pavers would be transparent...

this is a great idea..but you need to match the dustiness of the background with the clarity of the hands coming out of the mouth.. great Idea.. a gradient inside the mouth might be helpful.. good luck (others will have more Ideas)

Looks good, but the hands need arms, and maybe better shadows.. they just look a bit pasted on at the moment. Good luck
