Although I am an atheist, I believe that religion is a great way to express art. So I made this in honor of handling the story of Christ's resurrection. I hope you enjoy. (5 years and 3238 days ago)
The title actually refers to the fact that I entered this in a theme contest [don't remember the theme, but I entitled this 'Puppetmaster' which ties in with this contest's theme] on the previous incarnation of this site the very week that it crashed more than a year ago (and when this image still had a modicum of topicality :-) ) -- but since that contest was never completed, I can resurrect and re-enter it so I don't have to feel all my effort was wasted. Where's your SBS? No high res? I really can't seen anywhere in your image how you used the original source.
the cross is made up of the original source - i recognize the silverwear handle.
the coffin was made entirely by the source image.. the body of the coffin is the plate. the cross is the handle of the spoon, and the flowers on the coffin is the spoon. ill make the SBS maybe later (**_)

yikes..that's a whole lot of fonts...
I like it, i especially the the PXL Shots bit, but to me it doesn;t look too much like a magazine, but some of the choices you made were great. Comments now rated by yawn.. xD!

try saving at a higher quality for your entry and re upload, the entry has too many artifacts in it. It almost looks like a bad gif or a jpg saved at 50 or lower percent quality.
Thanks Anna, but it's the dark solid reds & blues that happens with...it's due to the site conversion process.

just read the fricken cover and your a hoot author............ i was going to say that this is a complicated magazine and i wouldn't pick it up off the shelf lol.... but hell its funny, and you didn't steal anyones work to make it... kudos to you, atleast if you do come last you can hold your head high and know you were beaten by a group of people that created text and not images lol
