The Crested bird is created from the source roots - feather by feather, and enjoys the cool water in the forest which was a portion of the source photo of roots. Please see SBS for the details. Thanks to Picture Taker at flckr.com for reference source of birds, used ONLY as reference. (5 years and 3333 days ago)
yes,......! this is amazing......! how about making it lit bit ' fatter' ? I mean it still look flat,...well thats just IMO,...great amazing creation anyway.....
Crested Crane.. woo hoo.. (great job author.. wonderful work)!!!!
juste waw
Great job! The reflection in Step 16 is better than the final version...the edges conform better to the ripple contours...other than that, it's lovely.
Thanks for the comments! CMYK, I will check that out. Maybe I uploaded the wrong final while watching Dancing with the Stars!!! I did make some changes at the last minute.
Edit: You are VERY observant, CMYK. I did not upload my final version with the filters added, and they do add so much richness to the water. THANK YOU!!!!!
Fantastic! very nice usage of source image. CMYK46 is right, step 16 is the best. Change it immediately. Good luck!!
Fantastic very good ,and good luck
Looks pretty good! Crane is nice, just a few things that disturb me a bit: 1) the vertical size of the image, the top half of the roots is unnecessary and drags the attention away of the crane, you could crop the image, cut of a big part of the top.
2) depth of the image, the leaves in front of the crane are almost the same size as the leaves in the back, the ones in the back are way to big I think.
3) size of reflection, if I look at the crane it looks like the camera was pointed horizontal, but if I look at the reflection it's pointed down, vertical stretch reflection to +/- 50%. GL!
Nicely constructed but If I had to nit pick I would suggest sharpening the details in the Crane a little, and colour correct it into the 'setting' a little more than he is - Everything but the bird is a little green looking....
Good Job!
Wonderful! x10... Nice idea for the reflection (I always tried to make reflections, but without success) And this way is very natural. I love it....
Very very nice detailed work...best of luck author
