Good job author.. I feel that u need to do a little bit more work on their legs.. they need to get a good grip and front ones legs doesn't seem to be with the body.. they need to blend with the body.. try smudging the body area over legs to give it a look of small hairs.. I guess that'll cover the sharp end..

Nicely done except the background makes the birds appear to be about the size of hummingbirds. And the green branch they're perched on seems kind of weird.

this looks better.. and yea Danlundberg was right.. good update on that.. and I see that in the background of background image, there are other birds resting on the trees.. lucky pick on background.. good luck..
