in 1910, Pet Hats were all the rage, especially the "Meerhat" model! (5 years and 2485 days ago)
Great idea...might be good to give the edges around the face a bit of blur. GL author.
Nice idea, perhaps you still have time too soften the masking of the fur around the face...(try a layer mask soft brush.) Maybe a fine smudge bush on the fur line at the face also.
I had troubles uploading my entry, and consider myself lucky to have gotten it online!
I was so wrought over the fur on the outside and the background, I TOTALLY forgot to soften the edges around the face...Every entry carries its learning experience.

A bit too dark around her feet and along the left hand edge, but a wonderful contrast of shapes.
@ MossyB: Thank you for letting me know that, I have updated the image as per your suggestion. Kindly let me know if you have another suggestion to improve this.

Author, the cloud source given does not appear to be the clouds used.
Sorry. It's fixed now.
Shadows are wrong. With that light source the bee wouldn't have a shadow in this image, and the shadows of the figures in background should give a better idea of the shadow the girl would cast.
Thanks. Fixed.
Well, to me this looks just fine, shadows and all. I like the tonal range that melds into each other....it doesn't look pasted on but real.
Thank you Still.
