The mushrooms on Shroom Island are so durable, they use them to make furniture for the beach... (5 years and 3392 days ago)
i thought the only part of this that showed the source being used was the umbrella top.
however...when i put it up on high res, i see that you put the shroom caps on the ends of the chairs as well..and the table. you could have blended them better from what i could see, and some of your shadows under the caps are missing. they would cast some what of a shadow since they stick out from the legs of the chair.

Interesting work on the background.
Funny and good !
nice work
nice work author
good luck
Why no SBS? I think many, myself included, would like to know how you handled the background. Is it a painting? GL
im to lazy for to do a sbs. lol. but the back is some forest picture i found. i changed the colors and added some distortion with some layer effects and opacity changes. the back ground has 2 layers that give it a weird wavy effect and then the glowing lines is just that glowing lines filter in photoshop cs3. but yea there you go artgirl!!!!!
Thanks for the explanation. It's really not that hard to do an SBS if you save often in a folder for contest you are working on, numbering your saves along with an explanation of what you added in each step. I save each step as a PSD and also as a JPeg. Wish I had more than Adobe 6 to work with, though. Will watch for more of your work. GL

Seems like the lines would follow the curves of the mushrooms more...
thanx, I altered it a little, it is not so easy is it...
I think there's a lack of curves in the stripes, it seems like the mushrooms are flat... Warp!
If there only would be some original mushrooms right next to them or some other alterations.. nice idea, but just a little bit too simple. Still could use some warp or inner shadow or similar to make them appear more round and 3D.
@widiar....really!.....your opinion, but for me, a newbie to this, I think that it is not too simple!!....anyway, I have altered it once again........a little more shadow, and some careful use of liquify.......thanx for the comments peep's....
Cool...
It's definitely better now. I know for a beginner it takes time to make a good picture, but also if you wish to succeed, you need to be creative as well as to work hard. I'm glad you took the effort to alter it o/
Looks better now than what you had. GL!
good idea... better execution

The butterfly needs some shadowing under it. Otherwise, lovely overall composition![](http://www.pxleyes.com/forum/images/smilies/113.gif)
Very nice blending of the mushroom and orange and the face and the orange
Kinda weird.. the low res is almost better then the high res.. but the grand work is ever present.. Nice concept and great job
Cool! Good Luck!
