Its only fair to mention the tutorials used too
It feels so peaceful to look at it
Your "Silent night" looks like bright day.
Me: Right clicks on high res picture -> Use Image as Desktop Picture.
Fabulous composition! Wonderful use of tutorials. Looks like something you'd see of the back of a holiday card.
Looks very professional
A definite contender GL!
Although, "Winter Solstice" or "Winter Day" probably would have been a better fitting title (I see where you were coming from Bob) but I was so impressed I barely even noticed so GL!
now I can see this as a poster! Very nicely done

Very good entry.Great use of sourceimage patterns.
Nicely done, author - did you paint the background with the columns and trees? It's not mentioned in your sbs, nor is there a source listed.
Yes, I painted all background - columns and trees, becouse I don't like to use other's source and I had not someting suitable in my own photo
Well this is beautiful. I really like the effect you have created, and by drawing most of the elements yourself you have created a contrast with the gates and really made them stand out. Lovely work!
Very good entry, and very good work
your knowledge of perspective is really good author, also colours used enhances the beauty of the gate pattern...
Elegant simplicity ... beautifully done.
Lovely! This is the gate to the Snow Queen's castle
Very creative. You are a wonderful artist
Congrats on your fourth place, even though it's not in the top 3, it showed your artistic mind and beautiful execution. Well done, keep going!
Thanks to everybody

Why not use the contest sign as well, rather than just a piece of sky?
CMYK has a point. Apart from that, according to the landscap the light comes from the upper left corner, so you'd see the sign with some light in the left and a shadow in the grass. Good luck!
I want to go there, it looks so peaceful = )
