This is my Father-in-Law. He is now in his 90's, but landed on Omaha Beach during D-Day when he was a young man. He still sets off metal detectors in airports from the shrapnel that's still in his body. He has two Purple Hearts, and a Bronze Star for Bravery (among other commendations). He's not as young and fit as he once was, but he's still a hero to us! (The main photo is a personal photo). (5 years and 1296 days ago)
Excellent work.
Thanks!
Very good job on matching the shadow with the photos original light source. (The shine on his shoes)
Thank you
Nicely done and a poignant reminder of what a real hero is!
Thanks. He's a really interesting guy.
Make sure you thank him for his service for us.
The right shadow in the wrong shadows contest.
Thanks... we always support him.
This looks familiar.
Yeah, a while back I had a similar one that I think I posted in the forum for some advice on (which I actually like better), but it used a photo for the soldier that I couldn't track down to get permission for. So I started this one from scratch.
Congrats Mark!!
Thanks a lot
Congratulations!
