The background looks quite distorted, when scaling objects in photoshop remember to hold the Shift key to maintain proportions.
Hi everyone! I'm going to give this photo a failing grading for two reasons 1) its mine, you can see the originall here: http://www.guildphotos.com/bestofwaterwold/h56aab41#h56aab41 and 2) its got a dumb looking structure superimposed. By the way, I'm a lawyer, this image has a copyright and I LOVE a good law suit. Bring it on! - John Guild
perspective..
EDIT: Looks better, but first i dont know what the water on the middle of the table is..? and if it's supposed to be like deep, it doesnt seem like that. and the blurring is different between source pic and background.. either ways,, pretty good
Sorry John, thank you for pointing it out. I found this picture on flickr.com using the advanced search with settings to "Only search within the Creative Commons-licensed content: Find content to modify, adapt, or build upon". I will go ahead and change the background. (You may want to contact the flickr user to see why your copyrighted picture was under the Creative Commons licensed pictures.)
Author, I completely understand Creative Commons as I was part of the group involved. Under the conditions set you where were suppose to acknowledge Attribution; instead the image was posted without my signature which was apparently cut off before posting here. You picked the wrong guy my friend. I could have easily pulled a Scott Bourne on you. Your lucky day. I have no more to say about this subject nor will I be visiting this site again. Just stay away from my stuff. Case closed, take care, John Guild
on the left it kindof looks as if were just plopped there....
points55, maXed, Jgrafix thank you for your constructive comments, I changed the background and made few adjustments.
Really creative! Looks real
Author, screw that guy! It's his own damn fault he listed the image on flickr under a creaetive commons license. He's probably not even a lawyer. I hope he's serious about not comming back though.
I agree with you jawshoewhah, he only joined to stir things up. I don't think he truely understands what Creative Commons means. I doubt he is a lawyer...he just plays one on tv.
First one was better, its shame why u have to change that one....
great

Oh no thanks... I think, I'll stay outside Funny idea! Good luck
cute idea but some parts are very blurry and some parts are way too detailed.
Lenaina, I am with you on that! I'll stay outside too.
k5683 thanks. That's what happens when you work freehand on the monitor. I don't use a graphic tablet either. I am saving for a Wacom. Hopefully it will save me from pulling any more hair out of my scalp. He, he, he...

Very sweet idea! Great blending and shadowing.
Cute, good idea
i agree its a sweet idea and all so made pretty good, but i think the shadowing needs a little bit more work
the veg slices still looks floating
beside the soft low opacity shadow that there is now, there should be a darker more thin hard shadow line just beneath the slices
good luck
looks very real author, great job!
cosmetic masks already? cucumbers do better, i see it on my wife
