Sci-fi favorite is the artificial world called a Dyson Sphere. Centripetal force produces gravity for the inhabitants who live on the inner surface. in my variation a large opening protected by force field allow sunlight and transports in. (5 years and 3760 days ago)
Not even close. It's a DYSON SPHERE...http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/5/5f/Dyson_Sphere_Diagram-en.svg/350px-Dyson_Sphere_Diagram-en.svg.png&imgrefurl=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyson_sphere&usg=__zM3P_Qhc7g00HzWEi0qfQZx_UYk=&h=350&w=350&sz=33&hl=en&start=20&sig2=ipsK--6iYcmw_nScgyWzuw&um=1&tbnid=eZj4ASz13UtxJM:&tbnh=120&tbnw=120&prev=/images%3Fq%3Ddyson%2Bspheres%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26um%3D1&ei=E12kSo2WJYS6NfWtrO4P
What's the matter, never neard of variations on a theme? I added the opening to see inside just having fun with the sci-fi universe. I could have done Rama or Ringworld or variations of them. I'll quote Warren Oates in Stripes " Lighten up Francis".
Great job. Cmyk, cmyk, cmyk. Am I going to have to reinstate what I said about you before? Sheesh. Did you like the image or not?
the shadow is going the wrong way
I think it's pretty... for something dicy LOL
Duh! Thanks RickLaMesa, my bad, I must have flopped it and just didn't notice. Got nothing to do with the 12 cups of coffee and the tripio espresso I drank... or does it?
Nice use of sources. You may want to remove some of the shadow that comes from under the outer sphere (left side). Good luck!
simple and neat.. wish you all the very best!!!
coolness, I especially like your starfield
very nice
I like it
fresh colours and nice use of source.U may remove the shiny marble effect however
Well done!
Cool and creative idea, but something that would improve the picture is, instead of just letting the orb reflect random light, show a brighter yellowing light orb to show a star, otherwise it's just a bunch of random light in space.
Very nice!

For some reason this reminds me on Christmas and those snow globes. While PXLEyes should be for all seasons . Not sure if it's still readable in smaller version. Good luck!

can hardly see the source image. I didn't even realise it was the petal contest at first. no offence, as it might have gone darker when uploaded.
