hehehe.. cute idea author.. IMHO.. if you take a soft large brush and use the BURN TOOL, gently shade each side of the pins and ball.. it will give them a bit more depth and enhance the image.. love the fact you used the natural hole in the source to represent the finger holes.. good luck

Very nice idea author but demands a bit more work...Use big soft brush especially on the ball to create more realistic look and some 3D effect...select ball and on a new layer go around of the selection with big soft black brush...also with some white u could create some highlights...IMHO u should do the same on the pins too and create some space between them...sorry for the nagging...

author says:

Hey Thanks Drivenslush and erathion I did a redo hows it look now?

Author, the guys ment to paint the shadows & highlights on your objects. Make a new layer o ntop of your object, make it a clipping mask set a lower oppacity, and paint with a soft brush using black & white so that it looks 3d, like this pin and this ball. Make sure the light on all objects comes from the same direction.

Also reflection of the right side pin is a bit wrong, but easy to fix.

i don't know if its just me, but if the car was smashing into them, then the car would have less blur than that of the pins being hit
Never been in an accident, but im assuming one would slow on impact lol

avatar pixelkid

A slight perspective problem with the car. It appears to be going downward from a hill...but there is no hill. If you removed the building and street area on the right...it would help this. Good job!

Wonderful work. What great character you have captured with these three. You can hear them plotting.
The background with it's gritty texture works so well. Almost looks like it was drawn with charcoal which considering that I see them as Coal miners seems very appropriate.

Really creative work on the statues, love that you used the parrot's eye! and that you left just a little color in the three men, and kept the bkgd in grayscale.

in high speed photography you would not get any blur from an object unless it left the focal point of the camera. there would be no motion blur indicating direction of motion, nor would there be ghost objects indicating the motion either... high speed photos pick up a fraction of a second which unless the objects are moving at the speed of sound (roughly 340.29 meters per second), then they would be clean crisp objects. just suspended in a frame of their animation... GL!
