Fun process! More hearts though, just cause I want them LOL great job

author says:

I am sure that a passionate person like you must have already captured plenty of hearts in your lifetime and will capture many more before you meet with the grim reaper.

Try to use Channels to cut out the fire:
Select the picture layer of the fire, and click channels ( if it's not active near the layer tab , go to Window -channels)
Choose the channel with most contrast and use select color range to select the fire. Use the fuziness bar to adjust the selection. after you click ok and have the selection press Ctrl J to make a new layer out of the selection. Try it multiple times until you like what you get.

Selectiv via channel gives you a more transparent look which blends better in background.

Thank you so much.

Great work, I was looking at the tree and all of the sudden I saw all the Gnomes, and wow, good blending, looks like this too a while. = )

author says:

The gnomes where drawn in which made blending really easy! Tee hee - it was a fun image to do. It did take quite a bit of time but I could have gone on and on and on.

I am dying to see if anyone has found the bonus creature?

avatar Drivenslush

Oh boy.. flash back to the hospital waiting room paging through a Highlights magazine LOL

author says:

I was thinking about that sort of thing. I loved these puzzle pictures as a child (okay, I admit, I still like them). It was fun to create one of my own. Only trouble is I knew where everything was so couldn't look for it
