I used loads of layers on overlay to get multiple colours for the fur and nails. I used a lens flare and a hue/sat layer and the blur tool to get the eye aura. I used glow effects and at the end i put in a vinigrette. No external sources were used (5 years and 2527 days ago)

...the car travels to a programmed date upon reaching 88 miles per hour....

I love the concept of time travel, and when I told my parents that some modifications were being made to my car, they were quite concerned - at first. (5 years and 2536 days ago)

The cylinders you show in step 4 are much better than the ones in the final version. The cables don't appear to be attached to anything, and neither does the new steering wheel.

author says:

The bolts shown in the SBS are the originals, and were transformed for this entry. Regarding the cables and wheel, this is new technology, attachments are on the rear of the wheel and in the dark recesses of the cabin, a clean look compared to the clutter of wires and boxes in the DeLorean of the 1980s. Good observations.

Looks like the light source is from upper right...you might want to adjust the shadow.

author says:

Ah - I used a portable flood light

avatar George55
George55 says:

Just flip horizontal the background, and the lights will be in the right place. The perspective of the shadows have to work with the light source. The image will look better if you do so.

author says:

Thanks - I've tried to reverse the background now

The shadows shoud be in the front. As a suggestion for your future work. Whenever the light source is behind or to the sides of an object, the shadow will always be on the back of the light, if your object is behind the light, it should be darker with a shadow at the front. If your light source comes from the right side, your shadow should be to the left, and viceversa if light comes from the left side, your shadows will be to the right. But try to work with perspective.... It is kind of difficult to understand, but if you check this link... you will understand.
