Funny law but I must nitpick. The contrast of the police offices seems too light compared to the woman. Toning down the brightness in the background layer is probably not a bad idea either.
Idaho: It is illegal for a man to give his sweetheart a box of candy weighing less than fifty pounds.
Seems perfectly reasonable to me....

creative
Amusing. Raise bottom of frame to make clear front of train sticks out far enough for smoke to be in front of frame. I think this would work better if the protuding tracks seemed three-dimensional (add left side to left track, terminate tracks with the cross-section you would see if you cut through them). And maybe eliminate the protruding gravel. Also, the protusion's shadow doesn't make sense, especially if the tracks are jutting out towards the viewer.
Interesting idea. Listen to Dan.
Congrats

Really I like this one. Maybe you could choose other theme for the pop up, a older theme, like the books, anyway good work.

perfectly on theme and nicely put together. Well done.
Great entry, and nice to see you back, author
Great job! And for sure a book I would have loved, as I was a child. It looks really convincing and what is especially good, is that you thought about making folds in the different elements. That makes it even more realistic. Good luck and welcome back!
Thanks Great to see some familar faces Lelaina,ponti55,Bob Ps, congrats on the mod position lelaina!
probably the most on theme entry so far looks great, i like that the pop out is the same texture as the paper and that the colours look a tad faded top vote, well done!
Surely a good imagination, the result looks pretty real couldn't say this has been made on ps

I think this is great, and so far people don;t seem to be appreciating it much.. Still, good luck.. a well constructed image
