Ah, that's all ok (I already had a clue). Thing is, on my screen I see 2 different backgrounds. One is real black and another one from -I guess- the bulb source. Up to you if you want to keep it like that. Good luck!

I cut pieces from the porcelain pumpkin image, added them onto the stone ball. Colored and added shadows to every element.
Added dwarf, added shadows for him, added backround and grass, and colored using a couple of adjustment layers.
Added butterflies, galaxies and light beams brushes.
Added gradients to obtain warm color and light.

Nice idea, but it looks like a copy and paste job to me, you could try finding ana ctual statue image and put it in there, and maybe add a nice backfdrop
i'm missing a lot of sources
took your advice ponti55 added a backdrop and some shadows
i like this one! i think the thinker should be upright and the copy and paste thing fits too!

Good idea...ball shadow isn't right, figures need better highlights....
Maybe if u soften the edge of sphere's shadow...will look more nice.

Very nice, but before i looked at the image closely, i thought the sea was sand.. if it's meant to be the sea i think you should make it blue.. and maybe work on a light reflection , otherwise if you like the colour of the ocean, you should make the lightbulb and the ship match as well. Good luck!

o.o dunno why you changed it but i liked the water in the bottle better when was darker and greyer same with the ship they look more painted on especially because the light bulb doesnt seem to be transparant
Me too, but because the first ocean had a non-derivitive copyright that I did not see at first I hade to pic another...I will try and get that water in the bottle to match up a little better. Thanks for the advice!!
