Author - i take it by your description that the girl is a ghost or similar? Also we can see through her.. If thats the case - you need to make the full seat and ropes visible too. A bit of time with the clone tool should do the trick..

the apple still looks a little 'fake' need to play with it a bit more goodluck.

Maybe move the highlights on the apple to match your light source?
