My Photo combined with source (5 years and 3282 days ago)
Looks great! I might desaturate the background just a bit, so the foreground image pops more, but that's just me...GL.
source only used

I like that you used lyrics from the Beatles for the title. It's a creative concept for the image.
Some awesome work author.
thank you, everyone.
Fantastic work author...well done
PRETTY!!!!
Wild..... GL!
Lucy in the sky with diamonds : )
Fabulous coloring! A stronger/thicker and straighter edge where the two birds meet might be appropriate. I'm not a big fan of (often boring) symmetry (of shape here, not coloring). Rotating the image 60 degrees and recropping might be more interesting and better convey a kaleidoscopic feel (even though the two sides aren't mirror images).
First of all, LOVE the title, and second, GREAT image! Wonderfully done, author!

thank you Mr. Carroll for inspiring me through the ages...from my youth to my age of now....
"Alice replied, rather shyly, 'I - I hardly know, sir, just at present - at least I know who I was when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.'
'What do you mean by that?' said the Caterpillar sternly. 'Explain yourself!'
'I can't explain myself, I'm afraid, sir' said Alice, 'because I'm not myself, you see.'
'I don't see,' said the Caterpillar."

LOVE THE HOOKAH... or is it? LOL Great idea and love this work.
Great image! (And I'm SO glad the sparkle brushes are inconspicuous...).
I wonder if this was the source of inspiration?

A tiny bit dark for my taste but still a nice job.
Thanks for the comments everyone
CMYK I couldn't stand a very vivid sparkle but a little light was needed.
And ray, I'm naturally drawn to darker images and I am sure its a personal taste...but I like it that way.
And as for inspiration, no...sadly that did not inspire this piece but its a lovely work.
HEY THAT IS AN AWESOME SHOT RAY!!! Author...I like the darkness of this shot. Not sure it would have the same appeal to me if it were brighter.
Author, I guess you know I'm not a fan of pre-made brushes, but just to clarify...I'm a sucker for a good Alice in Wonderland pic, and this IS a good one!
Who ... are ... you ... to create such a wonderful (pun alert) image as this! Just love the whole thing ... your lighting is great ... feels like being in another world ... down a rabbit hole perhaps?
I hope viewers will go into the hi res on this work to really appreciate how well done it is. GL
*blushes* thanks so much for the lovely comments. Coming from you very talented artists, i'm most honored that you guys like it so much.
I KNEW IT!!!! Nice entry! GL!

Nice! I like that you left a leg and an arm out of the ripple effect.

A bit too high contrast. It's almost too bright to look at...Generally you only want to use "bright white" (with no toning or shading) very sparingly as highlight accents. Also, the columns look crooked, throwing the angle of the image off.
Thanks for the input i have tried to correct the angle of the columns and take on broad about the high contrast. I have updated the image so you can now at least look at it without your eyes hurting!
Nice mood.
Unusual image ... I like it; I would like to see it printed as I think it might have more impact than on the screen. Sometimes the "light" can detract from softer, less contrasty images.
IMO
Arca thanks for the comment. Printed on a canvas i think would look good. Would need more work though as only had a laptop and mouse pad to do this whole image.

The source carved in the wall or like getting out the wall would fit better, imo.
i dont understand the concept author?
@CrystleClear, think of King Kong looking into Fay Ray's Bedroom window with his one big eyeball
