very different approach author.. good luck..
post melting through a manhole cover
techniques used
Layering,Burning,Smudging, plastic wrap filter ,color overlays and layer blending modes,Some cloneing ,
layer masks,and the warp tool
Edit: I posted this and used the manhole cover I thought was one I had shot but on a closer look it looks as if it was a stock image from
Wikimedia commons
the one I had shot had english writing this one seems to be different .
Sorry Was not my intent to steal the content . And thank you CMYK for asking me to upload the original or I would have never seen the mistake Source added now (5 years and 3500 days ago)
very different approach author.. good luck..
Thank you
I was going for something different from what was already posted.
The shadow is too thin, at wrong angle, & the edge should be blurred. The melted part of the manhole cover should probably still have a slight glow. Post your uncut original photo in SBS. See http://www.pxleyes.com/guidelines/
good job .............. Gl ..........

Very good use of source!
original idea, i think u should used some glass in the window
Nice to see something a little different. I might nudge the background up a tad so the little boat in the distance doesn't look like it's sitting on the window cross piece.
thank you all ... I think it's a bit better...
interesting idea
nice view

This was a bit tricky because there is three light sources.
The circle I duplicated and rotated it around.
Cathrine Langwagen- Thanks for the stock photo of the lady (5 years and 3656 days ago)
If you tone down the highlights on the red circle from the source, this would look much better, You have an interesting idea, but it just doesn't fit in this scene light wise or light source wise. The masking could do with a bit of work as well.
try adding some shadow from the head and the stick because you have light and light will make shadows.
Complement colors, nice
Bad, bad edges...clean this up for a better vote...the idea's not bad. Use pen or lasso tool to extract images neatly.
You can also use liquefy/push tool to make the edges strait. You also might want to put a ripple effect where the ring touches the water.
idea is great but croping is not that good...good luck author

good idea == shadow needs some work -- lion shadow needs to be more away from the lion to add depth as does the rings as it is now they appear to be falling on the air not the building
