very cool Idea.. great subject matter.. wondering if matching the shade of the horse bottom with the head color would be in order.. though this is a fantasy piece and continuty of color is sorta a moot subject.. good luck on this.. (High res would really help in voting, if you have the time.. sbs would be awesome as well) good luck author
Thank you very much for your comment and advice, all points are very well taken. The color mismatch of the head and bottom had been an issue from the start as it's fairly hard to come by photos of horses that would work for the image (posture of the horse, lighting, clarity, etc.) Justifying the color mismatch to myself, I thought that horses exist which have brown heads and spotted white bodies. However, I would surely have used matching parts for this if only I could. Anyway, as I've said, all your advice are very well taken GolemAura. Thank you very much.
recomend going through deviantart for stock photos of horses, they got great images and depending on the photographer, may be of the exact same horse =D so u might get lucky enough to get 1 image or 2 images of the same horse for both parts. good luck, it is very nicely done, love the design of behind. tho i did read the discription and it said bony. and the guy in the image looks a lil flabbish not with strong bone structure
good job, and GolemAura seems to have a large collection of animal behinds. don't ask why...
Interesting, good luck!
cool
