CMYK46 says:

Author, your sky photo is fantastic. I wish you had paid more attention to detail, though...The plane at top left wouldn't be flying with landing gear down. You could have removed it, or at least fixed the half tire showing. On the other 2 planes you've left white background showing between the torpedoes & the belly of the planes, and in the rudder flaps. On the left side of the saucer at right, you've chopped off 2 of the lens flares. All this is obvious in hi res.
In terms of your concept. it's great.

author says:

CMYK46.. You were right about the first things. I changed it.. thanks..
But the lensflare problem, isn't my fault. They are all the same copy of the first one I placed. The problem is in the mix of the layers. Especially with the colors blue en purple the background doesn't allow to give any contrast in these hi-lights.

I like your sky... it makes a huge contrast with the planes and UFO's. GL author.

author says:

I was very lucky to sit at the window of the plane, going through two layers of clouds with a setting sun behind this spectacle. It made me very happy when I took this shot.

It is fun to work with an image of an hour glass. If we think of how fast time slips away from all of us. We could do many things better. Time does not forget, it goes faster and faster every day. (5 years and 1369 days ago)

The thickness of the hand when the perspective was modified gives it a neat creepy edge. Almost like a baby's hand with attitude. neat idea

author says:

Thanks for comment. Yes, it is amazing what perspective can do... I wish I had baby hands... without wrinkles... (kidding) at my age? Lol.

Congrats

Time is dripping of my hand. A Dali like attempt. (5 years and 1408 days ago)

avatar CMYK46
CMYK46 says:

Light source on the hand is from upper right. Shadows should be cast accordingly. You might want to soften (feather or blur) the hard edges of the hand, too.

avatar Drivenslush

Awesome concept author! Liquify works great to create the melt effect, you can also copy the bottom part of the watch of the melted section (copy) and perspective it so that it looks like it's moving toward you and on the surface of the wood instead of just touching the surface. Tricky, but it adds to the effect. Not necessary just a suggestion. Good luck.

liquid metal Thats nice

This is really cool!
I agree with CMYK46. IMO the drop shadow tool will diminish a great pic. Paint your shadows..you will have more control of where they lie and look more natural. For the hard hand edge, just make a second hand layer, Gaussian blur bottom layer, (about 30%). then take your eraser (50%) and erase only bits of the edges creating foreshortening. Same with table edge. I love Dali btw

CMYK46 says:

Or select the area outside the hand, contract 1 pixel, feather 1 pixel & delete. Either way the entry will improve.

author says:

I agree with all of you guys, But time is not always on my side.
I did not change the hand with filtering, I just took a new photo of the hand with light on top of it. Thanx for the suggestions.
