Now that is the softest rose I have ever seen, even the spines look friendly, great creative spin on it = )

avatar artgirl1935

'Feathery' roses - quite different! You might want to load high resolution, but even without it, the background could use a lot of cleaning up. GL

avatar erikuri

You gave life to a almost fading rose! And I give you congrats for the patience to do it only with mouse (it sucks, it's difficult...).
Do you know Genius Tablet? It's as good as Wacom but cheaper. I had a Japanese Wacom, but... it was stealed... Then I bought that one, because doing PS without a tablet!... oh Gosh!

its awesome.... really good....
add a high resolution image if you want mods to give you a good numbers...

you can have my wacom tablet.... its not helping me out lol

author says:

Thanks for the comments guys :]
Added a high res img. (didn't know I had to check the box for that, heh).
I could probably clean it up more, for sure. But then again, I'm in no way good at drawing freehand. It was a bit hard for me to tell what was going on in parts of the source img.

@erikuri: Thanks for the tip! I've seen some cheaper ones out there, indeed. Think I'll buy one next week. Would make my life so much easier! And it's about time I got one

@Keiley22: lol. Sure, do you send to norway? Hehe

Thanks again for being nice to my first entry.

Really lovely effect! It's a good thing you didn't overuse the mixer brush, you've kept a lot of the detail. Well done

NIce one. Good work on the shadow at the rope. Maybe, the clothespin are too sharp. Maybe, adding some blur would be better.. Good luck on this!

avatar jawshoewhah
jawshoewhah [banned] says:

Agrees with blurring the clothes pins. Also try to uplod a higher res so we can see teh details of your chop. It's simple idea, but clever.

author says:

I downloaded the small rez. . If I have time. I will make it again in a high res.

Balanced Bicycle - created by Gilert

Balanced Bicycle
Favs: 0SBS: 7Hi-resRank: 12/15Score: 54.4% (0)9772 views

My first entry: I used only the original image. The tires are from the front knob, rims from the scale pans, spokes from the right scale hanging wires, the seat from a rubber foot, the chain from thread on the foot, the gears from the large knob in front, chrome parts from main stand, and the frame from the scale arm with gradiant fill. I used the transform and warp tools a lot. (5 years and 3766 days ago)

avatar gopankarichal

good first entry. Add a step by step guide.

avatar ponti55

Clever use of stock! Maybe try adding a background, just like a sidewalk or something.. nothing major. Good luck!

avatar pixelkid
pixelkid says:

Good job, author! Not sure why the back tire shadow is so much smaller than the front. Nice use of source and good job!

author says:

Wasn't sure HOW to do the SBS, when I figure it out, it will be here.
