Love the compostition here!
Interesting. I think your title may be missing a word, i.e., you meant 'Looks LIKE a tough guy' in recognition of the fact that attacking a snail is never a sign of toughness even if you are small. The snail does seem lit from the upper right while the guy is lit from the upper left, however.
very nice excecution.. good luck
Nice, so we're having escargot for dinner =)
Thanks for the comments Title updated
I might have nestled the hook a little deeper in the fingers for the grip, but the piece is well chopped. I like it!

Made on a laptop with a broken mouse... euch.
To complete the image i extended the background of the cup to make room for the water bootle, then using the pen tool i selected the bottle itself. After selecting it i flipped it vertically and i also extended the water coming out. I also painted in the remainder of the thumb with a dark grey colour ond a softish brush *about 45%* I also applied a vignette because the colour of the bottle seemed too similar to that of the background, making it hard to focus. Cows have gotten tough in the future. Without humans to protect them they have developed a scaley skin to protect them from preditors. Keeping their hair while maintaining scales was a fluke of evolution, however it has saved them in harsh winters. The hair can grow out and protect them from the cold and it sheds in warmer weather exposing the scales once again.
Special thanks to pale and mbaldwin of www.sxc.hu for their stock! They have both been notified. (5 years and 3729 days ago)

Climber edges up the branch, not realizing there is a potential problem ahead.
Thanks to David Niblack for the climber and bee images. (5 years and 3779 days ago)
Nice image, the shadow is completely wrong.. i myself am not the best person to ask but i'm sure someone else will comment. As for the bee, it's a bit distracting from the main point you're trying to get across. Good entry otherwise. Good luck!
ponti's right. the bee shadow is too blurry (compared to the branch), it's not positioned right (should be directly in front of the bee) and it's not the same color as the branch shadow.
Would be better without the bee, and the climber's shadow needs to match the angle of the vine shadow...
Funny . If there's a shadow from the vine on the wall, then I also expect a shadow from the climber on the wall. Not the whole climber, but at least some of the body. Compare it to the leaves, just above the climber. Good luck!
Ok, I think I am getting the hang of the shadows -- obviously still a weak area for me. I put the climber's shadow on the branch itself (hard to see) and overlapping on the wall. Removed the bee, since it seemed to be distracting. Thanks for the constructive criticism -- helps me learn.
very good editing---
he he cute.
