I played with several images on this one. I then came across a picture I took of a Lionel train sitting on my car that gave me the idea of finding a train yard to use for this one. I followed the first tutorial link in the contest description. The train photo is public domain taken by FEMA employee Jocelyn_Augustino. Author..this is a great Idea.. but the distortion of the train will cause many members panties to bunch.. try to shape it along the horizon line to achieve a higher score.. Like I said the idea is great. .but it does need a bit of tweaking
To much distored and the wheel doesn`t seem to be on the rail, maybe you can also work on the inside shadow of the train to make it more realist....

Interesting idea, but the smoke and steam don't look realistic. And out-of-bounds images are more compelling if the OOB element is more substantially out of the photo frame. Scrunch the left photo edge so the white frame seems to be parallel to the front of the train engine.
Nice effort. But I agree that smoke and steam are cartoonish. Try to make them using clouds render filter, resizing and removing the excess with soft eraser. In the case of smoke, you change the color. It's an idea, GL!
