Uh-oh... this guy is really well-travelled! Where will he go now?
I think he could be darker, black color is a bit washed out. And I have an idea of how you did the trunk and the scythe, but the newbies maybe not. Could you explain it or show us in a sbs?

Nice job!! Only suggestion I would give is the splash around the whale is a little too bright for the lighting of the setting sun. Maybe soften it a little and have it follow the shadows of the tails of the other whales. Good Luck

Just love the imagery and the symbolism - very very well done. I would have liked to see a bit more movement in the smoke, though. Would have liked to see it swirl and difference in transparency to make things more dramatic. At this stage it feels a bit like a perfect symmetric block to me.. just an opinion
