They are meant to be that way. I did it on purpose. It's a fantasy after all. Shadows are not always realistic or consistent in a fantasy art work. The shadows are all going down the hole like they are being sucked down into it. Some call it artistic licence or distortion of reality.

instead the vector sources given, used my illustrator shapes and preferred less destructive technique for body parts- clipping mask instead of eraser (5 years and 3296 days ago)
