This is really great work, I noticed a discoloration right smack in the middle of the fish on a fin. Not sure if this could be cleaned up. It looks a bit out of place. All else is just beautifully done!

The lady is not fitting properly with this image

I love bait balls.. photo's of them are awesome,,, I'm in the arena with gopan here.. I'm wondering how you could make her more involved in the image instead of in the back ground.. a real stumper here..I'm sure some of the more Tech peeps will have some insight.. I REALLY SUCK at underwater stuff.. I blame my eyesight and how hard it is for me to see the shade difference in Aqua.. but still a Grand Idea you got working here ..good luck

I agree the lady isn't fitting with the image...I think you need to play with the layers a little more..Try changing the opacity and fill levels to see if you can get more of the effect you are going for..Good Luck

Author, your pic may or may not be different enough from the link BarkersEgg supplied. In my opinion it's not. That said, the underside of the road surface he's lifting would be a LOT darker. Think about being more original next time.

@ barkersegg: I've seen the image you've linked featured in a magazine this month (photoshop creative mag, i think). That said I think it's a decent effort author. Although I agree with cmyk that the underside of the road should be alot darker.

I don't think there's anything wrong with having an outside inspiration. The real issue is how well that inspiration was implemented here. I don't understand why the background has become blurry or why the lifted-up pavement seems fairly transparent. Also, the perspective of the grass the guy is standing on doesn't match the perspective of the background.
