Nator, i considered leaving the film "scratch" look off, but i kinda liked how it gave an old photo feel to the finished product. If i get too many comments on its distraction, i'll likely remove it though.
I can see you wanting a scratchy texture on the creature, but not on the background. Like the creature, though...very enigmatic.
