like This....
agree with Martrex about the reflections, suggest you soften them, maybe use a graduated mask, but love the hair/headpiece!

The Jelly Venus de Milo is the most coveted of all the jelly candies.

This was made using the source for color sampling of highlights and shadows. Then airbrushing the venus by hand using the photo as an underlay. Lots of masks and smooth selection tools were used to get that glossy effect. (5 years and 3779 days ago)
Really well done! Good use of source!
Be sure to post your SBS, it would be helpful to see how you created this excellent work.

Inspired by Botticelli "Birth of Venus". (5 years and 3834 days ago)
good work!! SBS is not complete.
Nice use of colors. If you put the light beams from up the sky a bit mor eto the right corner, they'll match better with the light that Venus receives (but then you should also flip the shell). Would be nice to see how you made her hair. Good luck!
Really nice rendition of a classic. I have the hardes time with hair but you've done a wonderful job. I'd love to see a little more detail in the SBS as to how you did that. There is some incongruity as to the shadows. The light source is behind the shell, so is the shadow. Also, I think the intensity of her shadow needs to match that of the shell on the sand.
Poser work? Looks like she has a broken neck...if light is from behind as sunbeams indicate, shadows are wrong...
This is a very good image! Too bad the SBS is not very explicit, I would have loved to see more from the creational process. Good luck!
like this.... brilliant work on the hair!
