Perspective is what seemed most important to me about this image. THe photo was taken from a very low angle, almost as if the photographer was laying down next to the object, looking up at it. This precluded my incorporating it into a garden scene, etc. So I took some pics of a bird from a similarly low vantage point, and placed the bird images on the carving as looking down from a high place. All images are mine except the source. I cloned in a more interesting sky. (5 years and 3897 days ago)
those shadows are killer
KAPOW.. AWESOME... my knees tremble at the accuracy.. WOO HOO ZING Awesome
EDIT: Came back for another peek.. YEP, Still Awesome.. giving myself a hug for liking this so much
Very nice, I feel the shadows may be off a bit, just by looking where the light source meets the head of the sculpture. Good luck
Great selectin of source and nice work
Awesome. A real contender I think. How about adding some "droppings"? Most outdoor "perches" have em.
very nice use of source
