Perspective is what seemed most important to me about this image. THe photo was taken from a very low angle, almost as if the photographer was laying down next to the object, looking up at it. This precluded my incorporating it into a garden scene, etc. So I took some pics of a bird from a similarly low vantage point, and placed the bird images on the carving as looking down from a high place. All images are mine except the source. I cloned in a more interesting sky. (5 years and 3897 days ago)

Nice! most of your elements are blending well. However, the grass is too sharp/bright and the same goes for the pillars of the dock. The perspective is a little off for the bench, but I don't know if you can fix it. The rest looks great though!

Hey Everyone!! Thanks for the great comments! They really helped me a lot...I fix the grass and the pillars of the dock so that they blended better with the scene and hopefully are not so bright. I tried to fix the perspective on the bench but I don't think that it worked very well. I also increased the size of the tree on the left of the house. Plus I added a filter to the entire image to gain a cohesive look. Hope you like it!!!

excellent work here.. u may want to do some work on the coastline.. its is too uniform... some waves like effect will make it more great looking.. but that is just my opinion.. gl

Yep it is good, I did one of these, thing is you dont feel like then embarking on doing anything futher creative with it, which is where the community think, na, he aint done much, "just removed some stuff" I was the first to clean up "flower girl" but had my entry pulled as there was not much of an SBS. But technically it was better than everyone elses smoothed over, fuzzy, stylized junk, good job CMYK!
