Light on figures is from the left. Light on columns is from the right. Flip one or the other to get the lighting right. Otherwise it's a good blend.

nice one...i like the shading by therocks
I like your world. Nice concept.
I feel like the moon needs something, Maybe more contrast or maybe make it brighter. Love the concept and world though. Good work author and good luck!
Really cool concept... but the edges of ALL the selections are too sharp, the mountain rocks in the BG should be blurry, because you can NOT have in focus all the elements on an image. Background most of the time is be blurry, and objects in the front, sharp. That's a begginers mistake.
The overlay image of the skull on the moon, doesn't look real, and the proportion is wrong too. And I just don't undestand the tie/tentacle thing on the subjects neck.. And I see white edges around the claws too.
I know your previous work, and I know you can do MUCH better than this.
Good luck buddy.
OK so maybe the background could be blurred, unless you've seen pics of the lunar landings where everything is in sharp focus due to lack of atmosphere. And I have no idea what you mean about the moon. Maybe you were having a bad day or something.
I'm conflicted here... brilliant chop! but... limited use of source? Alot of time and thought was put into this.... and then bam... cut and paste the skull as a moon? But I would rather have this than a warped unreckonized picture of a flower with a woman downloaded from deviantart! Ha Ha Ha... just busting chops! This is an awesome chop! butt, limited on source...
So? Some knucklehead stuck the skull on the end of a cigar! Ain't that cut and paste? The contest guidelines say: manipulate it in any way you want. But thanks for the positive input.
But, you made it.....congratulations!
Congrats very well done

Thank you very much!!
This is great! I have a small suggestion...her dress looks pretty stark white and neutral...but in this setting...it would have a greenish cast to it. Perhaps try making a new layer and set it to 'color' mode...then using a soft brush...try a medium opacity and sample the green color as your foreground....then paint over areas of the dress. Don't make it too uniform looking. Maybe just blend greenish color from both sides of the dress...having slightly less green showing in the front of the dress. Nice work, author!
Congrats!!

All you did was remove an eye...so you've made a one eyed dog, not a cyclops.
actually I did move the eye ..wanted effect he could only see one side so went in circles .. but I guess that failed
really love the concept.. good luck author (placing a "WHITE" behind the eye) might help.. but I really like your thinking (centering the eye might help too) but that's just me
still trying to get the idea that its cyclops eye was on one side of the nose ...hence the inability to walk a straight line..will try your suggestion if I get a chance..on the road traveling
