author, I suggest you post a super large image of just the finished timepiece in the SBS, it would help in seeing the work done good image though.. GOOD LUCK!

to further enhance the watch..
suggest:
1. add a dab of sheen(shinny spot) for more glass-look
2. add a little sand grain on the glass (if prefered)

I suggest, try to change the bevel effect to down (might be best work with inner bevel). Try desaturated the gears a little bit, not too much bright colors like you did.
Anyway, I thought it was 3D render at the first time. Great job & what a nice idea, author~!
