Great darkside entry!
sources from istockphoto.com, licenses paid. Prove in the step guide.
lavaflow was made with a texture, and used the smudge tool (finger) on it. Please have a look at the full res. Hope you like it. :-)

Nice! i think you need to work on the clouds a bit, try blurring the one at the front just a bit, and maybe making the shadow furthest away a little more opaque. Good luck!
cute!
very happy image!!

I was making this during the week, but i never got any answers of permission to use images, so have had to re create it twice now lol
Anyway, i liked how it turned out and while it may look simple, it took about an hour to cut out the ship grrr and alot of playing with contrast, saturation, burn tool and clone stamping :) Oh and on the ship, i have removed flags etc etc as I didnt want them :)
Enjoy :)
Thanks to the following artists at Deviantart, I couldnt make my final images without you :)

such an amazing texture.. it almost feels as if the sea is made of some sort of liquid gooey tar.. VERY INVENTIVE and out of the box.. (Have no clue where I'd hang it.. it would over power anything else in the room... hehehe.. great job
you could maybe tweak the texture on the dress a tad to blend more.. but I don't think it really takes away from the piece (it's only visible in super high res so no big whoop)
i like playing with the contrast and burn tool to get alot of my effects Golem, i think that is my little signature lol as for the girl, i used 3 different girls but got no replies to use outside DA, this one was free to use anywhere and I kinda liked her anyway, ive had the pic for awhile... As for where you would hang it... the fact that you even though that made me smile lol
great work it looks natural
great color combination
this looks very nice, the gritty feel is really natural. Good luck!
Nice image!
