Sugestivo, hein... Nicely done, author!
good luck
What filter did you use to change the lighting? After seeing your sources I see what you did to put it together. GL
nice work......... all the best .............
I did not use filters,,,, I used new layers and I worked with colors.
I used DAVE HILL efects, too.

Dodge and burn contest:
Goal:
Make a square canvas with a grey background and create an image using dodge, burn, and smudge tools only. You can only use these tools, but it is allowed to use external references to base your work on. If you do, don't forget to mention them in your sources or SBS guide! Take some intermediate screenshots to show the progress of your work. Good luck!
http://www.pxleyes.com/photoshop-contest/12577/dodge-and-burn.html
JUST DIGITAL DRAWING
I used the burn and dodge tools only, with the support of my Wacom Intuos 3 Tablet.
I used this photo as the reference: http://chamberstock.deviantart.com/art/Spooky-Face-2-90286364
Great thanks to chamberstock for that image.
I don't believe that I can finish this one in a day. Thanks to Pxleyes contests, they help me improved a lot ^^.
Please watch the Hi-Res to see the close up detail, this is the most realistic artwork I've made :D. Thank you!

! what's that coming out of the cheek? Creeptastic!
It's really creepy!
@Anna: that's its foot and "it" is a kind of creepy viper from your nightmare .
@both: thanks you very much for the soon comments

simply...WOW
what?! no way! that looks so realistic! bravo, amazing work! no offense to the other people here on pxleyes, but this is the last thing i would expect on here... goes way beyond my expectations of the work on this site. incredible!
........................................................ what an excellent work.........
I am forced to add one more comment..... please write a tutorial about it.....
Why so scared? And do you still ask???
My God, it's a perfect work, my friend... And I agree with Anoop 'bout the tut! I'd like to learn how to do something alike!
Just one thing: and what is that stuff in her nose? Irk...
Thank you, my friends, for your kind words and favorites. I surprised myself because I was scared to try this kind of work (I tried several times before but always took me a week or more to finish). The realistic portrait is much easier in BW and I used a reference to study the face structure, skin texture, etc. so basically I didn't create anything new and I'm sure if you observe the reference and do the detail carefully, you can do better than me. I'll try to make tutorial for that but maybe by making another one, not this one. @Erica: the thing in her nose is the rest of the viper (tail), it intruded her through the nose, through the mouth and now finding the way out... nightmare, huh . @ricky777: glad to know that you're still here, have a good time, man.
stunning work author , excellent drawing

A little bit sad and nostalgic scene... beautiful!
Not good to make background color the same as the wall...doesn't create depth...better to go with original background pic...

well.. i accidentally deleted the .psd file so there will be no sbs.. basically, there's a lot of coloring, adjustment levels and some burning and dodging.. hope you like it (5 years and 3602 days ago)
The transformation is quite impressive.. the high res is AWESOME.. great capture of your friend good luck
Well done, GL
this is really good work .. personally I find the joker/ insane clown theme getting old... but I still think you have done a wonderful job.. GL!
Jellopudding, i'll agree with you on this one, but i've had this photo for some time now trying to figure out what to do with it.. this contest and the Joker idea seemed to fit perfectly.. thanks ya'll
i have Coulophobia so my clown opinion is bias... lol I have shaky hands while commenting lol.. but I thought it was very well done gl
Good work!
Good idea......why so serious? should be your title according to the joker....Nice try....
haha thanks! i have no idea why i wrote 'why so sad'...
Congrats!!
I love it but I'm really just worried about the hair on the back of that chicks hand

this was a good idea.
Thx Twilight....
Too dark on the man below the shoulders. Especially since the helmets of the shoulders show a light source coming from behind the man, not on top...
so cool idea author...god luck
@ erathion : Thanks,my fiend. Enjoy.
A rather invalid comment if I do say so myself:
"Too dark on the man below the shoulders. Especially since the helmets of the shoulders show a light source coming from behind the man, not on top..."
Looks very well executed from where I stand. GL to you!
As he is in a city where the light can be coming from a variety of sources I don't there is quite as much of a problem here. Great image and an unusual take on the source!
Haha very comical! Love it, author! Very different from the rest so far that I've seen!
@ arca : Thx for your advice and comment.
@ JPDesigns : Haha...I was inspired by THE DARK KNIGHT.
