Unless I'm seeing things, I thought the girl was a little brighter the last time I saw it. At that time I thought she was a little too bright, but Idon't think so now. Have I lost it? (probably)Anyway, I really like the combination of elements and the atmosphere. Nice job!

author says:

PINGENVY, you're right.
At the request of the moderators, I changed the bg.
After that, I changed the colors and brightness of the other sources, too.
Thanks for the comment.

It's a beautiful image!
Mas, tio, o cabelo dela está meio apagado na lateral esquerda, e uma parte da esquadria está aparecendo através dele...

Except for the foreground, it's not a bad chop. The only suggestion I would make is blur the foreground just slightly. It would give it more depth. In high res, some edges could use some touch up but only noticeable in high res. GL!

Good idea author!! Now I personally have never tried to make glass shards but to me they look like they lack depth...kinda looks like paper and not glass....Hope that makes sense Best of Luck

avatar jawshoewhah

It might look better without them.

author says:

Thanks, removing them in a moment.

avatar Arryko

In real life, if you have an window like that, when a part of it is broken the craks are only on that part, they cannot extend to the other pieces, for example the midle left piece, the crack should not extend up or down. I hope you understand my point of view.

avatar erathion

Author final product is very very nice...I don't agree about glass shards...think they made very well but that is MHO...maybe u could create some rays of light passing through holes to achieve more effectiveness...Any how...high marks from me

the lightrays on the stairs isn't in the right perspective with the light going through the stained glass....otherwise i like it a lot.

author says:

i used perspective to get everything just so... i lined up with the original light source (see source1) many thanks for your comment

avatar arca
arca says:

Stunning work ... I do think sometimes we forget that there can be light sources from outside the photo ... thus the appearance that the lighting/perspective is off. We don't notice this when we are actually there, looking at the scene because we take everything in as a "whole". IMO you have done beautiful work here.

Looks like she wants to pass through that glass...

avatar DanLundberg

Creative and clever use of her trailing arm, plus her luggage neatly hides the fact that she is walking. The repositioned handbag is appropriate given that she has halted her forward movement, but a hint of shadow on her pant leg (and possibly coattail) might seem more realistic.

author says:

DanLundberg, Thank you for your nice words - good eyes for noticeing the repositioning of the arm and great suggestion on adding the shadow, followed your advice and added some shadow on the leg and it made it much better

avatar JStaes

Very good work author...100% realistic...high resolution would be nice...best of luck

author says:

Thanks erathion for your nice comment. Actually I have tried to upload the image few times and have checked the high resolution box every tine, but for some reason it doesn't save the high res I have done it with my entries and never had this problem , any ideas how to correct this problem?

avatar arca
arca says:

Great image ... it would be nice to see it in Hi res but I think you have done a great job anyway!

Too late now but for future reference ... the Hi Res problem ... I had the same thing happen with a photo contest image. I opened my original PSD file and resaved it as a slightly large file and then uploaded the new one. That seemed to work ... it is worth a try at least.

avatar CorneliaMladenova

Great idea to make the girl window shopping
