It would have been nice if you used more the shell parts, as kyluvlee mentions above. The way you may get even more definition in how the face is built up, though is is certainly not bad. Good luck!

Nice mood! You used some ston texture, which works pretty well for what you want to achieve. But to make the face more a whole, I'd also add (some of) the texture on the skull, so it looks more like there's a connection between the skull part and the rest of the face. Good luck!
