Alien skins and a little smudging...simple
Started with the idea from a tutorial, I did not follow it completely except for how to help with the nose and the coloring, but the skins listed in my sources are from Deviant Art and come in a pack....MANY alien skins to use...I used two to get the right look. As a work of art I really like this! It's very Neverending Story-ish, and I love how intrigued the little boy seems to be with his book. That said, I'm not quite sure how this fits in with "The Trial". I read the lyrics and I'm just not seeing the connection (but thats me, I won't vote you down because of that). Also, I would rework the girl so that she was a bit more visible. I honestly didn't notice her until I read the SBS. In any event, love this!

i kinda like the image...its just kinda simple...i mean the globe is an fire...and its not the right shape(ponti said it) and the background makes no since...
So much depression. Uh, I don't think the other commenters are considering the condition of the earth in this photo. If the Earth is exploding, it could very well get distorted. But if the cloudy background is supposed to be smoke from the explosion, then you should make it look like it's coming from the explosion. The earth is casting a shadow against a wall of clouds?
