This image is inspired by all that is going on in this world today... the middle east, the global economical crisis...
Who better to pray for us than a little angel? A child's prayer is full of faith and power, so I thought a little angel's prayer would be even more powerful...:-)
I used "replace color" a lot, clouds brushes for the background and a neon glow on the hands and bible.
EDIT: Matched the colors a bit with match color adjustment. I think it looks better now. (5 years and 3899 days ago)
I see purple I see france, I see the authors under.... JUST KIDDING.. little purples in there.. it seems not to matter much.. alot of color variants are happening.. but if you want to get rid of the purple completely try using the channel mixer and setting RED at it's lowest setting.. it worked for me.. GOOD LUCK
Very Sweet IMAGE!!!
EDIT: GOTCHA!!! hehehe
Great tip GolemAura, I hope I got rid off most of the purples... you got me alright... one of these days I'll throw you off guard though, just you wait and see!!!
world needs to spinning! good luck!
Why is there a reflection?
@CMYK about the reflection. I thought it looked like something was missing, so I added "a reflection". Just a little extra help with the praying...
But...ummm...there's nothing to reflect onto.
good
Could it be she is standing in front of a window? I understand your concern, but if I have to remove the reflection I might as well take out the floating book in the back... I don't mean to seem rude or stubborn, but I just like the way it looks like this
nice job

1. i cut the earth in the form of the lower part of the lamp.
2. created some cracks with the dodge tool.
3.some lights with the poligonal lasso tool and filled them with different colors.
5. Added the frame and a texturizer-sandstone effect
6. Duplicate all the layers in a new group and then added a green blending color.
7. opinions and critiques please :) Good luck to you all and happy photoshoping (5 years and 3900 days ago)
Where the lamp has been peeled back, would you not see the world behind it?
good
The honest truth is I've revisited this piece like a 10 times and it just confuses me to no end..it's just a stumper.. I know I like it, and it pleases my eye.. but I have no clue what to say about it.. lets just put this down as one of the mysteries of the universe when it comes to my opinion.. and I usually can blab about anything.. good job on stumping me author..
I'm with golem...but I like these colored fallen pieces. Good luck!
I think it would be nice if the earth bit would look slightly transparent and plastiky, so as to actually let some light through. (maybe lighter areas in the ocean?) Would create a nice effect.
what is this? And the green think....why for?

Fun image ...shadows don't match light source.
nice work
Funny fishes . Maybe you can add some little highlights here and there on them, coming from the light beams. Ans I'd make the darker seaweed on the left side behind larger, at least not that it suddenly stops. Good luck!
very nice

good job and good luck

Good Luck
Not bad, but imo too hard to read. THe eye is clear, but PXL is barely visible. The ".com" is quite hard to read too. The purple background is possible, I wouldnt chose such heavy black gradient though. Good luck!

good work.
Thank you!
i think its ok now
looks great
everything except the sun appears blurred... or is it my eyes?? try to sharpen up the black planet/moon and the rocket.. gl
Great pic, agree with sharpening.
You probably know this, so this will be useless info. Use high pass filter to sharpen. You need a new layer with all elements on, go to filter menu, down to other-high pass, play with slider, not too high then that layer blending mode to overlay or hard light add layer mask and paint with black to bring back bits you don't want sharp.
just gotta love that spaceship with the pudgy weight issue.. hehehe.. so cute
