I really like this idea and the nostalgia of it. Recommend working on the angles used. The perspective of each piece is different. Also, fix the shadow on the helmet and I think you'll have a very nice piece here.
Very nice idea. Try to fix bullets and helmet shadows...
agrees with both comments.
It's a great idea, but try to follow Chaplain's advice, the perspective on the helmet is completely off, i would try to find another source.
ok i think i got everything fixed
Much better! Great joib and good luck!
thanks for all of the comments

I guess hyou decided separate bllets wasn't working, however, the magazine clip seems like is kind of floating. I

Pretty realistic. You might want to fix the reversed lettering on the background tank.
Thanks CMYK! Rookie mistake!
I'm an avid model builder myself and I make very accurate and detailed models of aircraft, spacecraft and military models. Since this contest is more about Photoshop skills I won't be using my models in this contest. Most people may consider them toys but model makers don't. Using such a model does make believability in a real world setting easier. I'm not saying you're wrong, just that you didn't have to do any Photoshop work on the "toy" to make it look real.
I want to stress the point that this is NOT wrong or off theme! By definition a toy is "an object for a child to play with, typically a model or miniature replica of something: (as) a toy car." You did create a very good composition and the Photoshop work is quite well done. It's just my point of view regarding how the realism is achieved.
I respect your position!
YOU SQUISHED THE LADY!!! (the original photo) Super cool. While I understand Spaceranger's dedication to model builders... (If you ever meet someone who put a ship in a bottle, hide all your sharp silverware if you say TOY) I think this chop is simply amazing.
I do believe a model can be considered a toy for this contest, as many models are available at toy stores... granted, if you've ever been in a hobby store or specialty Model shop the sophistication and "adult" attitude required to assemble them is mind boggling. Ask any one who has done a wooden model that requires an EXACTO knife to cut out the pieces...Yikes, I could never do it, I like my fingers too much. GREAT WORK AUTHOR.. and good luck
Congrats.....
WooT WOOT! Congrats even with the squished lady
Thanks guys.
Congrats!
