I was wondering how to net the darn thing... (5 years and 3832 days ago)

Its an interesting idea - but the shark is a little too blurry in my eyes. I would have another go at cloning out the part of the sky next to the sharks head. You can see the pattern forming there.. GL.
Boy's expression is perfect! Shark is too blurry. Bet you could find a better one to use with better lighting too. Good luck!
Mummy, get the frying pan ready! Idea is good, but I have to agree with the others. Maybe look around for another shark that's not so blurry?
the kid's face is priceless

The opposite of a 'Push Me Pull You'...
I'm practicing with masks and cloning at the moment, so this was a good exercise. (5 years and 3835 days ago)
Good job! There's just a bit too much symmetry on the ground between the legs...
Yeah! Dr. Doolittle!
Oooooo, mercy! Really cleverly done!
great imagination
Nice result. In fact I wanted to say the same as CMYK about the ground between the legs. If you can make it less symmetrical (just add some other ground parts), would be very nice. Good luck!
You can see where the top layer overlaps the bottom layer near the left legs. Also the shadows of the legs go in opposite directions, which makes no sense.
very nice one!
Thanks for the comments. I can see what you mean with the symmetry, I forgot about that area. But I also forgot about the shadows... lesson learned *hopefully )

Nice montage - but your light sources are from different directions.. Maybe flip the background? GL
A pike is very light on its underside. I put the lightsource on the left side. I'm not sure what to do--I tried to darken the RGB on the belly side of the fish and it looked funny. I tried to bring the lightness down on the belly side of the fish and it looked funny also. I'll try your suggestion.
Thanks animmax, I took your advice and it seemed to work out.
All good - much better.. GL
This is not a montage it's just a real picture.... Nice job!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photomontage it would be considered a montage
good job, looks like the real thing!

This made me laugh. I like the reflections too...but the reflection has more detail showing in its tailfin than the actual fish. What happened to the top of the tailfin?
EDIT: Understood author! Makes sense...really funny image!
Happy you got a giggle out of this. The full length of the fish is half out of the water. That was my intent to make it look like a tall tale. About the clearer details of the tail under water, well... there are less ripples on the water.
